Leaving from Yalova at the Marmara-sea, goint to Istanbul withing some hours, avoiding the streets and the new bridge across the Bosporus and enjoying the fresh sea-air.

somewhere in between :-).. the first time i set foot on a big ship i was 5 months old ,Wolfgang! My mother was emigrating to Africa from Portugal!.52 years ago it was a big step,i imagine. !for my father it was always nice whatever brought changes and had a smell of adventure.. i can only imagine what my mother was going through at the time,travelling to a very distant continent, with 4 children and nothing that was familiar. I think she was very brave,:-)) somehow i always feel nostalgic, when i see this kind of photo.. maybe i wish my mother was still around to tell me of those great adventures.this is what is important for me .. photos that engage me . thank you
