Stadtbild Wuppertal 49 (zwischen Klüse und Döpps)

This is what one would/could see, as passenger, in Wuppertal's Schwebebahn ... looking out the windows ... the Schwebebahn is an overhead train; swinging, hanging on one rail,
and
the fotos are taken from inside the train.. usually moving.. (up to 35kmh) above the streets, over the river Wupper and through the various stations (a route of 13km hin und 13km zurück).

ich weiss zwar nicht warum, aber ich mag dieses bild. obwohl es die typische betonwüste einer stadt zeigt.

@Wolf Maier ... slow speed here means about 30kmh in the curve ... (bet one has to be quick to take the picture... as the posts often get in the was of a clear view)

@Hauswart Dr. Müller & die.Anna ... the refrence to the Bronx does trouble me... I'd say.. if it appears so... it's definitly not ...

@pia-hexe ... the picture in in the middle of the city... Elberfeld .. and yes people live there too ... they don't have far to walk to be in the middle of the fußgängerzone

@Sue Thompson ... yes Sue they certainly could.. I often wondered what it would be like to life in such an apratment.. near the train ... I've have had that view out of the window of any of the 3 different appartments I've had in that city... maybe I should visit someone who lives along the line ... to make this expreience.. amd mayber a foto or two

@Ratrick1 ... actually it isn't sad... sorry if the foto awakens this feeling.. (perhaps I failed to bring over the mood ... thank you for the tip)

@povla ... yes Patrick1 even felt the mood was sad ... but I really don't know any place that doesn't have trist moods or places... it is often changable mood many times each day for any given place.

@Mario Fox & Yvonne Steigi .. yes.. the living in cities is often organized in hives (and stadtteilen), I have also lived in the country-side and hiving exists there too ... perphaps we are inwardly related to bees

Vor vierzig Jahren bin ich mit der Schwebebahn ein paar mal gefahren. Ist ein eigenartiges Gefühl.
