I do think I have to add
I can't tell anyone how many times I sat next to this sign at a red light in about 15 years of going to the city ... it's become so familiar.. I feel it's become part of the family...

@Niko Cobben... no no .. no links.. I wouldn't fotograf that old marode machine ... and
it behaved very badly ... it wet the kitchen floor (I thought it needed diapers), then, it refused to start.. it actually played dead.. for 4 days ...

odd is:
the day after we ordered the new machine.. paid for it.. and arranged for it's delivery and installiation...
........ the old machine started to work perfectly.. and I mean perfect ... do such machines have a soul?

@eve-bi ... many of the things in our daily life are simple.. perhaps that's why we don't often take notice of them.. or take them for granted .. but I find that this Strassenverkehrsshild has personality ... in a silent kind of way... stands there alone (is definitely Einsam) .. in all kinds of weather .. never complaining ... one day.. I thought it winked at me.. but I do have a vivid imagination

Die Beifahrer scheinen mir irgendwie eigenwillige Bildausschnitte zu haben,aber auch nur so bekommt die Insel diese witzige Form,die mich an .... erinnert.
