I like how is shows the steepness of some of Wuppertal's streets.
I really love that about Wuppertal. That and the hundreds of steps and all the green and the beautiful houses (Gründerzeitvillen).

wie viel schöner noch würden die Häuser aussehen ohne die vielen Autos davor ! Aber leere Straßen in der Stadt gibt es einfach nicht mehr.

@Elke ... well, , yes, time will tell ... as is a part of Arrenberg is in a programm ... something like 'Stadtteilerneuerungsdingiskirchen and Verschönerung-von-der die das Nachbarshinterhöf.... so... it's only a question of time until "schicken Eigentumwohnungen" appear ... there is a market for that sort of thing ... (should I put you on the List?

but
the Viertel is basically
Innenstadt with two of it's own Schwebebahnhöfe ...
on the border to Eberfeld-City ...

Arrenberg was however originally an Arbeiterviertel (Schlachthof and Elba, (both now closed down and gone) (and I lived on Viehhofstraße) ...

these days Arrenberg has a very mixed Migranten-hinterground (sort of Multikulti-and- quasi-Kunstlerviertel (with one of the best Herzkliniken of Germany)
