Köttelgasse, von unten (Wuppertal-Hammerstein) Frederick Mann
The stairs are to use just from mothers and their child :-)
Years ago this sign was with a man and his child.
In Anbetracht of women´s lib they had to go ... to no where :-)
@Volker ... yes ... that's the real name ... a sign is on the wall with the name ... I even asked people (locals) who were there... and they told me why it has that name ...
@E-Punkt ... well yes.. the blue point is there as a signal .. to inform you that you may use the stairs .. (and, pout, I have to go the longer way around ... or wear a dress)
@Adrena Lin ... very well observed ... I hadn't looked at it that way ... but you're right ... they must have that sign there for some reason. (I guess I shouldn't use Köttlegasse as short cut to Edaka anymore)
